Frequently Asked Questions
Is it actual wrought iron?
True wrought iron is rare today. Modern 'ornamental iron' is typically heavy-duty tubular steel or aluminum that is galvanized and powder-coated.
Will it rust?
Our steel panels feature multi-layer anti-corrosion coatings. Rust is rare unless the coating is deeply scratched and left exposed.
Can small dogs get through?
Standard pickets have a 4-inch gap. If you have small dogs, we can install 'puppy pickets' which reduce the gap at the bottom.
