Can I use it for dogs?
By itself, no. However, we can attach a black welded-wire mesh to the inside of the rails to keep dogs in while maintaining the open look.
Wood or vinyl for horses?
Both work, but vinyl can shatter if kicked hard. Many equestrians prefer flexible specialized horse fencing or traditional wood.
How far apart are the posts?
Typically 8 feet apart.
